Strathfield FC would like to confirm that Football NSW has lifted the suspension on training only from 12 am Friday 22 May 2020.

However there are a number of conditions, one of which is that local council approval is required before any training can take place. At this stage Strathfield Council has not given its approval, and the FIELDS AT STRATHFIELD PARK REMAIN CLOSED.

This means that, despite the announcement from FNSW, none of our members can train this weekend. The CDSFA has advised that any group of players or any teams that resume training prior to Council re-opening the fields may be de-registered.

We are working with the CDSFA and Council and hope to have better news shortly. We will contact coaches and managers with further updates as soon as possible, as well as any additional guidelines and protocols to address the risk of secondary contamination clusters once we can start training again.
